support.sophos.com is not showing in Web filter Logs

Anyone else have this issue?

community.sophos.com  shows up in web filter logs BUT support.sophos.com and www.sophos.com don't.

Why is SFOS hiding these logs?

I thought it might be some exception but that doesn't seem to be the case.

  • Humm i found one from days ago...Not sure why they stopped...oh well the hunt continues I guess.

    echo "           __     __         __         __     __    _______               ";
    echo ".--------.|__|.--|  |.-----.|__|.-----.|  |--.|  |_ |     __|.--.--..-----.";
    echo "|        ||  ||  _  ||     ||  ||  _  ||     ||   _||__     ||  |  ||     |";
    echo "|__|__|__||__||_____||__|__||__||___  ||__|__||____||_______||_____||__|__|";

    ~~~ I miss Port 17. Remember using telnet to get the Quote of the Day? Maybe I'll set one up for all the port scanners.  ~~~
  • Well it seems for this internal IP / Firewall rule I was testing the DPI engine. Logs didn't show for some reason using it and I also couldn't login to support.sophos.com . Now with the Proxy enabled I still only get 1 log showing support.sophos.com days ago but now its listing everything linked to it as referrer.  Interesting and neat at the same time. I'll need to read up on DPI. Thanks for letting me talk it out. Feel free to delete this post.
