Limit total traffic of each client on open Wi-Fi

Hello.

We have an open Wi-Fi network that anyone can connect to without authenticating.
We want each client who connects to be able to browse at most 1Gb of data per day. (of any type, navigation, online video, etc.)
Is it possible to do this?

Thank you so much. (sorry for my English, im Spanish)

  • Hi,

that is not easy to setup because you have not defined how many clients you will have on any day and how you identify them?

  • Hi.

Since it is an open public Wi-Fi, it is not possible to determine how many clients are going to connect. It is about ensuring that those people who have Wi-Fi coverage do not have unlimited internet. It cannot be limited by hours as it must be available 24 hours a day.
