Hi everyone!
we have a problem that we can't solve.
We have two MTA servers in our network: the production one and one in the Test Net.
We have recently migrated from SG to XG, and since the migration, we are no longer able to send Emails within the Test nets (in particular a "no-reply Email from a Server in Testnet) through our MTA in the test net, as it would seem that the Firewall grabs all the SMTP connections and somehow sends all the Emails to the outside.
We hypothesized this because by creating a Firewall Rule that rejects the intended connection (serverTest --> MTA_Test) the situation remains unchanged (error while sending: "couldn't send email to xxxxxx, please run connect() first"), while by modifying this Rule by blocking traffic to "any", the connection is actually blocked.
Via telnet (mta test net, port 25) we do not understand why it is our MTA in production that is responding (even though the server sending the email is in the same test network as the MTA server), which is obviously in another network.
Our XGS3100 is set in MTA Mode.
Our Test MTA has Anonymous Relay already set on Send Connectors.
How can we do to separate the SMTP traffic of the MTA server in Testnet from that in production?
I hope I have explained myself.
I remain available to post screenshots and configurations.
Thank you in advance
