Whatsapp Allow chat and sent files

Hello everyone,

so I create new role and allow whatsapp application but it was allow chat only so I add exception in web control with domain of whatsapp.com to be allow so now all OK and they can send pictures, videos and files

This network open in Wi-Fi but every time they connect to this network it ask to sign in and I didn't want that and need to direct connect..

what should I do to allow all to join the network without sign in page witch is not show anything and it's blank page!!!!!!!!!

The only time that you should get that is if it is hitting a firewall rule with "Match known users" and "Use Web authentication for unknown users" set. If you want users to have access without being authenticated…

Hi,

what are they being asked to sign in to? If it is the wifi it means the user does not have admin rights to the network and can't save the wifi password.

Hello,

It nothing belong to Wi-Fi access it's redirect to sign in page attached and if I ignore it it will work but it must do everytime I join this network

I need to disable this sign in

If you want users to have access without being authenticated you should not check Match known users.

I would double check the other firewall rules as well just in case you are hitting a rule you don't expect.

While I don't think it is the issue, you can also go to Authentication > Web Authentication > When unauthorized user reaches a block page Show captive portal link. Disable.

I found the solution and please tell me if there is anything wrong

I found this site blocked as I block all web and allow only whatsapp so when I add it to web allow it not ask to sign in any more

site is: connectivitycheck.gstatic.com

is this can open any site?? and what do you think for this solution

There is a configuration issue somewhere on your box.

My guess is the problem is somewhere in your policies / firewall rules. Your traffic is most likely hitting a firewall rule that has "use web authentication for unknown users". That I don't know wifi too much and maybe there is a config thing in there.

Chrome (Android?) uses connectivitycheck.gstatic.com to figure out whether it has an internet connection and/or if there is a captive portal.
