Hello Sophos Community,
I'm rolling out Sophos Connect Client and IPsec provisioning file via group policies for a customer right now, everythings working fine except for one thing.
When the vpn provisioning file is imported to sophos connect client, it uses the FQDN of the remote gateway as the connection name, but after the users log in successfully for the first time, the connection name changes to the "Client information name" set on the sophos firewall under configure > Remote Access VPN > IPsec > client information.
this setup is working fine, but since users will get the provisioning file again with the next windows login, it will be added again with the Firewall FQDN name, leaving the users with 2 connections, the renamed one from the first provisioning file import and another form every subsequent login.
To reduce confusion for the employees which connection to use, my idea was to change the "Name" field in the ipsec client information field to the firewall FQDN on, but it's greyed out.
Is resetting the whole IPsec settings page my only option to change the Connection name?
Setup:
Sophos XGS3100 running SFOS 20.0 GA
Sophos Connect Client 2.2.90.1104
VPN: IPsec VPN Remote Access for Clients running Windows 10
