Sectigo Certificate Status Not Trusted

I have import both Certificate and Root CA in Certificate Authorities Menu.

But Certificate status Not Trusted persist.

I saw a weird description in subject of certificate appears in Sophos. There is a different description between Certificate Menu and Certificate Authorities Menu, as shown below. Which is actually comes from same source.

O=Sectigo Limited

O=Comodo CA Limited

Kindly need solution for this problem.

    Sectigo certificates often include two intermediate CAs. The "AAACertificateServices" is the original root CA, that for example is used to issue the "USERTrustRSAAAACA", which is part of the pre-installed CAs. But: that CA is used to issue the "SectigoRSADomainValidationSecureServerCA" (not installed) which at the end has issued the certificate, that you want to use.

    In that scenario you have to install the "SectigoRSADomainValidationSecureServerCA" as a validation certificate on your firewall and that will make the whole chain trusted.

    Simply go to "Certificates", "Certificate authorities" and click "Add". In the popup you can paste the Certificate in text format, all other fields are filled out automatically.
    After clicking "Save" you will find the new authority as "Uploaded" and your chain should be complete and trusted.

    Thanks for your explain. Just to be clear, here is what we got from Sectigo. I combine 3 Chain into ca_bundle file.

    So, which file need to add in Certificate menu , and which one need to add in CA menu ?

    If you have renew the certifcate you don't have to do the upload again unless the chain CA expires.
    Sectigo/Comodo went through that process a few years ago and their certificates suddenly had two chains, one to old root and one to new root. That was a bit messy Slight smile
