Resetting Sophos XG-230 HELP

I have a Sophos XG-230 Firewall I need to reset to factory and reconfigure. Sophos documentation states the reset button does not actually reset the device to factory, and my testing shows the same. Gaining access to the device by IP is not possible because I do not know the subnet it was on previously. Puttying into the device using Micro USB COM or RJ45 to USB COM does not connect or display the password prompt. The physical HDMI port does not display on a monitor or TV. Beep code on start up is a single beep followed by three beeps. HELP! omegle

Please connect the the Sophos XG firewall and get the console access with help of  console cable came with Sophos XG box and get the console as per the below steps and to factory reset the firewall you have to type "RESET" under password prompt and selection option 3.

Identify the com port in the sophos XG firewall, it will be noted with com port as shown in the below image,Once you identify the console cable, connect that one end of the cable to firewall as shown in image below. Other end of the console cable should connect to computer (Sometimes USB port will act as console port) by installing proper drivers.

Right click on windows option and then click on “Device Manager” as shown in below image

Identify the Ports (com & LPT) section in device manager and click on drop down list and we will see the serial port which is connected. Sometimes to make USB port as console cable, we need to update the driver by doing right click on the concerned port.

Here COM port is COM3, so we need to use this COM port in putty software.

Now its time to open putty software and connect to console of the firewall.

Open Putty, and select “serial” option in the serial line keep it “COM3” and keep speed as “38400” as shown in image below

“Then select “serial” option from the left tab in putty, and keep flow control bit to None” as shown in image below

    Thanks and Regards
