Sophos Central Cost

I just applied the 18.5.1 MR1 update to our XG 135 and was presented with the following:

When I click on the "Get started" button it invites me to either login or create a new Sophos Connect account. However, it seems to be a free trial? https://www.sophos.com/en-us/products/sophos-central/free-trial

The screen above states that it is included at no extra cost. I did not expect to see the trial screen. Please advise how this works.

  • Hi,

    there is a free version that only stores data for 7 days and does not allow download of reports. If you want a longer period there is a licence required and I suggest you talk to your Sophos partner for specific details.

    Hi Alan Spark,

    If you click on " Get Started", Sophos will redirect you to create a trial account wherein you will register any email address that you have. Once you register you email address to Sophos Central, you will be able to navigate through the Sophos Central Dashboard which is valid for 30days. This will help you to be familiarize yourself on how to navigate through the dashboard and yes, you are correct this is for free. As shown below from below sample screenshot, I have registered a trial license and I have the trial license for all products manage by Sophos Central.
