There are some sites that I need Ads blocker disabled, or I wouldn't be able to continue. Is it possible to whitelist?
SFVH (SFOS 18.5.1 MR-1-Build326)
Hi,Most certainly is. You need to be using decrypt and scan in the proxy. Create your own web policy using the no adverts, then create exception in the web exceptions.
the block policy needs to be in your firewall rule web setting, you will also need ips enabled.

Hi rfcat_vk, I've created web exceptions. Where do I get to apply this?
Web exceptions are automatically applied when the web proxy and dpi are used.
In that case, URL as shown above, isn't exempted. What could be the problem?
What have you exempted the url from?ian
My firewall rule is No Ads.
I am after the web exceptions settings.
Math-aids doesn’t look like a url? Looks more like part of a search criteria.
let me lookup one of my blocked sites to compare.
my mistake. math-aids.com
Hi,
that site is not classified as advertisement, but as a reference, so if you select by category and add 'reference' you should see access.
Ian
Added Reference to exceptions, still there's pop-up saying I'm blocking Ads.
Furthermore, scmp and gsmarena are genuine urls, but still, ads aren't excepted.
Yes, there is a popup in the math-aids web site about blocked ads, it is not the website itself you need to be looking at but the ads that site uses.
Ok. I suspect it must be it. You're saying the popup currently isn't classified as ads by XG, correct? Any idea why scmp and gsmarena, though url is part of policy that will be excluded, still, I have blocked ads?
You can remove the exception for math-aids.com you are not blocking that as far as I can see.
The notification is embedded in their website and it not classified as an advert, you should be able to see what the actual url for it is in the logviewer web tab.
gsmarena.com is classified as an Information technology site, but some of its pages are classified as ads.
Currently, gsmarena is being blocked. Though I have it excepted, still, it's blocked. How does information technology classification play a role here?
