Sophos SSL VPN Client Silent Uninstall

We are migratiing a client from Sophos UTM to Sophos XG and at present they use the SSL VPN Client to connect to the UTM.

As part of the migration we are looking to move to Sophos Connect 2.0 client so that we can push the software and configs out with requiring to use the Firewall Customer Portal.

Just need to get a way to silently uninstall the Sophos SSL Client, don't see a way to do this.  Does it exist?

We have RMM tools we have to script uninstalling the SSL Client and then install the Sophos connect client, just need the uninstall string.

Anyone been able to do this?

Thanks

Andy

  • Hi Team,

We are looking for a solution to this as we currently have the SSL VPN deployed to roughly 1000 endpoints and are wanting to upgrade to Sophos Connect Client 2.0. I cannot find anything online on how to silently uninstall the Legacy SSL VPN Client and have tried the uninstall.exe in C:\Program Files (x86)\Sophos\Sophos SSL VPN Client\ with all the silent flags I could think of to no avail.

Any support or workaround from Sophos would be appreciated here as this is stopping us from deploying the new client at the moment.

    Regards
