Cloud Voip Phones BLF's Not working

Hi,

I have a network that newly had 70 cloud hosted phones installed at a hotel.  The 10 Staff phones all have BLF enabled on them but they worked on some phone and not on others then finally they stopped altogether.  The phones are on the Gamma Horizon platform and are Poly phones

I've checked the MTU and it's set at 1500 as per the phone company's spec and I can't seen anything that  stands out ion the logs.  I've disabled SIP ALG and applied the below KB's

Sophos XG Firewall: VoIP calls may drop or encounter poor quality

Sophos XG Firewall v17: Understanding 'Invalid Traffic' log entries caused by the connection being timed out from conntrack

Can anybody suggest anything?

  • As far as I can see this seems to be a big issue with the XG firewall interfering with SIP traffic.  I have a case open but I'm waiting for the Engineer to get back to me as his command for the CLI isn't working

tcpdump -vni any -s0 port 5060

    returns unknown parameter "any"

  • Hi Mandy,

please post a copt of your firewall rule regarding the VoIP access.

Regarding VoIP policies have you created any?

  • See below for the VoIP Policy.  Let me know if there is anything else you need?

  • Hi Mandy,

I was asking about policies like these not firewall rules where e you apply policies.

I have added services because one of my VoIP phones occasionally likes to use other services.

I have included the web policy which was developed when I was using v17, but is no longer relevant for v18.
