FIREWALL RULE NOT WORKING

I HAVE CREATED A FIREWALL RULE TO RESTRICT USERS FROM ACCESSING SOME WEBSITES BUT IT SEEMS THE RULE DOES NOT WORK. IF I PUT THE WEB POLICY RULE ON THE DEFAULT NETWORK POLICY FIREWALL RULE THEN IT CLOSES ALL WEBSITE AND USERS ALSO HAVE NO ACCESS TO THE INTERNET. KINDLY ASSIST

Hi,

your block rule has to be at the top of the rule list.

Rules work top down.

If i put the rule at the top then it blocks everything and users have no internet access of their pc

Hi Mohamed,

you also need to enable the HTTP proxy unless you have setup TLS/SSL inspection rules?

Not according to your screen shot, you are using the DPI engine.

Hi Mohamed,

the the box to use the http proxy and that will then use your web policy.
