Sophos XG SSL VPN (Remote Access) Detail Report

Hello,

we are facing issue to fatch detail report of SSL VPN (Remote Access). we checked different forums but not found any solution. As current situation of country we are allow users to take remote of your PC from home from SSL VPN (Remote access). All users successfully connected. but i cant found any tab for find yesterday VPN users detail report. how much time to spend on vpn..Source IP destination IPs etc.

I have checked logs from log viewer with filters logs available. but Management decide mark attendance as per spending time on SSL VPN (Remote Access).

You can get information about VPN usage from Daily report under Reporting > Show report settings > Scheduling > Report.

Otherwise you can get information about VPN usage under Reporting > VPN > Show VPN or Show SSL.

Hi,

you might be better off using your AD, because from my memory the users connection and disconnection times are recorded.

Thanks for your reply. yesterday whole day users are connected via SSL VPN (Remote Users). But all reports are empty no single users shown in reports. we are also Reports---VPN TAB---

its also empty. attach files is for your reference.

Hi,

where are the VPNs terminating, on the XG or on the users office PC?

You should be able to see some in your daily executive report.

Dear VK,

thanks for your reply. SSL VPN is working fine only issue is reporting. Users not shown in any reports of XG firewall.

Hello Sophos User385,

you have to change from VPN to SSL VPN. Please check the picture below. Unfortunately the information in this report is really minimal. I would prefer if the report also provides information about applications and how much data were transferred by each application, etc.

Dear Alda,

thanks for your reply . I was checked each options. but SSL VPN logs not show of whole day. as per log viewer all users are connected via SSL VPN and take remote our system. i want report how much time spend by users on SSL VPN tunnel.

I suspect that the reporting db is corrupted. If you can lose the reporting data, you can try to rebuild the reporting db via console.
