XG Home Edition - NIC Ports not Working but Recognized

Hello everyone, 

 

I'm new here, so please bear with me. I'll also be traveling for work this week, so while I might get advice, I may not be immediately able to apply it.

 

I have a Dell Optiplex SFF 7020 with a haswell i3, 8GB of ram and an intel Pro 1000 Quad port (https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/ark/products/50496/intel-pro-1000-pt-quad-port-server-adapter.html) That I've got Sophos XG up and running on. 

 

As of right now the only port that will go link lit is the onboard NIC on the MOBO. The ports on the NIC show up in the software, but they will not go link lit after plugging in or assigning an IP address. 

I'm hoping I can get some assistance here as I would like to run this at home and this hardware is what my budget allotted for.

    Do you know the MAC Addresses of your Mainboard? 

    Maybe the Ports are mixed up and you need to figure out, which MAC is which Port.

    Easy way would be:

    Bridge all ports together in one ethernet Bridge.

    Plug in a cable and look at the XG Webadmin, which Port is connected. 

    Write down the Port in Webadmin (Kernel) and which port it is on your Board.

    I thought about that, so to validate that I assigned NIC port 3 (in any other real world it would be port 2) to the LAN Zone and gave it an IP of 10.10.1.21

     

    Still nothing.

     

    Whats super odd is I can see packet exchange on the switch RIGHT as the Linux/Unix subsystem starts up, but then everything stops. I even see lights for a very brief moment.
