Credit Card terminal at a customer site has an average of 2/9 failures with "Connection Error". While troubleshooting with Level 2 support, they claim no data has been received for the failed transactions. Neither the clearing house nor the ISP claim responsibility for the failures. The terminal communicates using Ports 80, 443, 5000, 5003, and 8013. The terminal is connected via Ethernet cable on the LAN and receiving an IP using DHCP server on the XG firewall running v17.5 firmware.
Does anyone have an idea to begin troubleshooting? Such as determine IP from DHCP Server, using log to find devices communicating on Port 8013; then creating a rule to exclude the host from all scans?
Thanks.
