time session limit

Hi peeps,

New to the forum and the XG (inherited).

We are battling an issue whereby mobile users sporadically get their Outlook for IOS app receiving a 'Blocked' notification. The device itself becomes blocked with Exchange (2013 on prem).

This issue only became prevalent after out migration from our TMG (thats right) solution.

MS has indicated that its best to have a 30 minute session limit on the EAS rule. I have confirmed that this was implemented on our TMG.

How do I do this on the XG ? All past articles/blogs shed no light other than a need for this but nothing more recent than in last ~ 2years.

help?

thanks!

  • Farbs,

it would be helpful to capture a tcpdump from xg for the mobile having the issue and start investigation from there. The other option is to open a ticket with the support. Try the advices given by Ian, try different mobile brand and OS and let us know.
