XG 210 locked up today

Hello everybody,

Well, after 60+ days of continuous running since the upgrade to 17.5 MR-9, our XG 210 completely locked up this afternoon out of the blue, I wasn't logged into it, hadn't made any recent changes, etc.  I was unable to reach it via web gui, SSH, or even ping it.  Had to power cycle it to restore function.  I opened a case with support and maybe they can pull logs or something to figure out why it happened.

Does this happen to anyone else?

    Hi Bill Roland,

Sorry to hear that you had this issue today with the firewall. Could you please PM me the case number?

I happened to work on issue like yours, in most cases it happens because of the firewall acceleration. Please login to the firewall and disable firewall-acceleration form the device console (Option 4).

To disable firewall-acceleration run this command : system firewall-acceleration disable

To enable firewall-acceleration run this command : system firewall-acceleration enable

KB Article on how to access XG CLI : Sophos XG Firewall: How to SSH to the firewall using PuTTY utility

    Thanks,
