Import UTM9 configuration into XG?

I'm currently running UTM9 Home and am looking at possibly migrating to XG.  I understand there's no tools currently available to simplify the migration and XG requires a fresh install. In absence of such tools, is it possible to do a fresh install of XG and import the saved configuration from UTM9?  Or would I still have to setup XG from scratch?  My UTM9 configuration is fairly simple and really only doing network and web protection now, but I'd prefer to not have to reconstruct the network rules and the other policies I've already defined.

  • Hi KenSpickler,

Currently it is not possible to import saved configurations from UTM9 over to XG as they are entirely different systems. You are correct in that you will need to start the XG setup from scratch if you wanted to migrate over now. The migration automation is expected to come out in Mid-2016.
