Load Avarage - strange calculation

I'm seeing LoadAvg of 1.7 almost all the time on a newly setup XG Firewall. CPU is idle most of the time.

Clicking on Dashboard and looking at "System" show the same graph for system load like it would be just a static picture - no changes over time.

BTW: I have configured WWAN modem - and although it works connection status on dashboard is always "down".

Early bugs?

Kind regards,

Slawomir K.

  • What have you connected your WWAN to so that it would be up?

When you click on the CPU graph on the summary page, what do you see? Mine averages 0.67% max 13.49%.

  • Mine idles at 0.88% avg for the last 24h.

I have connected a Huawei E3131-s2 3G dongle which was working fine with Sophos UTM 9.x. It logs to the 3G network and gets IP. I can disconnect ethernet cable from Port2 (WAN up-link) and XG Firewall switches to WWAN. I can browse the Internet and it works exactly the same as using ethernet uplink, but WWAN status is always "down".
