intel compatible or x86-64 ?

Hi, for the Software version, the web site says 'intel compatible' but nothing about X64. The download I got requires X64.

Is this a permanent thing or will there be an option for x86? If it is permanent it would be wise to reflect that in the document so people don't invest time only to find their hardware is not compatible.

I also tried to install the ISO on my atom based N270 dual core firewall that is running UTM 9 now. it came up and said that it needed a X86_64 cpu but could only find a i686 cpu. No boot
