Sophos XG Firewall - Move from beta to Home Edition?

Hi there,

is there a way to move from the Beta License to the License of the Sophos XG Firewall Home Edition?
If not, will reinstalling and registering with the new serial work?

If it does, will I be able to Import a backup of my Sophos XG Firewall I used in Beta?

Hi lbeme, licenses are now tied to serial numbers. There's no way to change the serial number on an installation, so you would need to install a new system, and restore your backup - which will work.

Alan,
all of us will continue to test beta, so imagine us to reinstall all the time the system (at least twice per year), so please allow us to test beta easily and upgrade to GA without reinstalling.

My office UTM offered an upgrade from Beta2 to GA (and I did it successfully about 10 day ago):

all of us download XG as beta and serial number is attached. You cannot convert from beta to Home License. Beta license expires 5 Jan 2016.
At the moment is not possible to covert beta version to home version and maybe even in future releases because downloaded image has a built-in serial number that cannot be changed.
