  • Hi,

please review the log viewer when trying to run the update and see what entries you see?

    XG on VM 8 - v20.0.2 MR-2

  • Hi,

create an any rule at the top of your rule list for use by your android device's IP then open log viewer and set the filter to you IP address and then change the log viewer to web applications. after that try the update process and see what the log viewer shows.

  • Hi,

Nothing is blocked or the log is not showing it anyways.

Chose the detail view cause the application log was empty

But if I disable HTTP Scan the device can download the updates, but that's not really an option.

Btw, I'm I the only one that's not receiving emails when there's a reply on a post?

  • Community had some issues. Most likely this causes the Delay of Mails.

You should use Exceptions in HTTP Scanning. Most likely the phone cannot work with a proxy (which is scanning the traffic).

  • Hi

I got email notice on this reply so something is working again.

I'm aware that an exception to the HTTP scan has to be made, but this is a general issue with the XG right?

Haven't been able to find dns or ip's that have to do with Samsung Galaxy apps alone.

Maybe you could make a Global the same way you did with Netflix?

Samsung not a small mobile company so this would be an issue very where the XG is used.

I know it's not an issue on Cisco FTD.
