We're currently built around Sophos XGS firewalls + Ubnt switches/APs for our stack. I see sophos has launched a line of switches, and they've had APs for a long time. We don't have any problems with our stack but i want to see if there's any reason to change.
Has anyone tied everything together with sophos (Firewall, switch, ap, endpoint) and can report back if there's any advantages (other than single portal)? Increase security in any way? Easier config? The unified heartbeat thing is fun but it's hard to roll out universally (like threatlocker, lot of tweaking) so i don't see that feature alone on the switches and APs worth paying a yearly cost for and switching.
I really wish ubnt would stop throwing *** at the wall to see what sticks and go back to doing a handful of things well. Back on topic, haven't touched any of the sophos switches or APs, got a few clients that like the fortinet switches and APs
