Cannot start a scan

Hello,

I am trying to run a manual scan on my mobile using the Sophos anti-virus but as soon as I press the start button it aborts the scan immediatly.

I've just installed the app and already tried restarting the phone, this doesn't seem to help at all, also there is no notification icon showing that tells me the antivirus is actually active, is this always hidden?

    the notification icon is hidden, untill the App has something to tell you (That it found a thread or scanned an installed application).

    When starting a manual scan, it can take a few moments (depending on your hardware) until the screen changes to indicate the scan. If you press a second time on the scan button this press will be interpreted as cancellation.

    Coud this be what happened?
