Sophos Mobile Control Client

First time on a forum so bear with me as I try to adapt to this environment.

I currently demoing Sophos Mobile Control and I'm having some trouble getting the client to my Android device without the use of the Google Play store. I'd prefer to not make a corporate google account so I was wondering if it would be possible to upload the package and have it update from the console.

Side Note: I'm also currently using a demo license so I do not have a prodict license name or password to download anything from the Sophos website.

Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi James,

    welcome to this forum :-)

    Unfortunately, the SMC client package is only available in the download section on sophos.com.

    In general, it is possible to download the Sophos Mobile Control client from the SMC server.
    However, you have to make sure that your SMC server uses an officially sigend SSL certificate for it's website.
    Otherwise, the Android system won't complete the download of the APK file from the server.
    Furhtermore, you must enable the "Unknown Sources" (can be done in "Settings | Security" on the device).

    If these things are given, the device can download the client from the server.
