System Property Checks fails

Hi All

When running the System Property Checks app it fails saying "The IIS is not enabled on this computer". It is enabled and I can connect to http://localhost which displays the default IIS page. There is no mention of this being a prerequisite  and no help in troubleshooting the problem.

Any help appreciated!

  • It is failing because the server you are using has IIS running. The pre-req is that IIS is NOT installed, and nothing is currently using ports 80/443. If you have an existing web based application on the server (such as NAC) that is using IIS, then the installation can not be completed.

I am having the same problem, see my installation questions thread below. I do not believe this application can co-exist with the enterprise console IF NAC is installed, or you have a web based CID. This is contradictory to the information I received from support, but it does seem to be the case. Will be opening a new support ticket today and I'll let you know what I find out.

  • Are you indeed installing on the server which runs your Enterprise Console? If so, do you have NAC installed on that server? I was able to successfully install after removing NAC and disabling IIS on the server.

  • Hi JCook77

No I'm not runnning NAC on this server. Of course it's blindingly obvious now you have pointed it out that IIS must not be installed!

Thanks very much for the help.
