MDM enrollment on iOS-devices and self signed certificates

Hi there,

is there any chance to manage iOS-devices using self signed certificates?

We have SMC version 3.5 installed and tried to enroll some iPhones via SSP.

The enrollment fails during the installation of the profile.

Do we really need a trusted certificate?

    Hi Mr_Smith,

    managing iOS devices with a self signed certificate should not be a problem.

    Have you uploaded an APNS certificate for the customer you are trying to add devices?

    What error do you see?
