SMC Supported Device Roadmap

Hi,

Could someone from Sophos please comment on whether we are likely to see support for Windows 8.1 / 8.1 RT devices in the future?

There is also a much-rumoured update due for release to WIndows Phone (8.1 / 8.5) which boasts an 'Enterprise Management Pack' to further MDM capabilities on Windows Phone.  When iOS 7 was released, support for new features was implemented very quickly.  Can we expect the same for a new version of Windows?  Anything in the pipeline?

    Hi JamieEvans,

    as of now, there is nothing defined yet regarding the support of Windows 8.1 / Windows 8.1 RT.

    The planning for future SMC version is currently ongoing and this is taken into consideration, too.
