Fingerprint Sensor IPhon 5S (Passcode required)

can i use the fingerprint sensor to use the passcode required option in the compliance settings?

    Hi mercutio,

    as far as I understood it correctly enrolling a fingerprint also requires the presence of a passcode.
    Haven't had the chance to have a look at an iPhone 5S, yet.

    Therefore, once you enable the fingerprint a passcode has to be defined and the compliance check is fine with that.

    Be aware that this is one of the new iOS 7 features which is not yet supported by SMC.

    Nevertheless we won't be able to force the user to use the fingerprint.
