Sophos Mobile License Expire

First of all, greetings to all.


I've been checking on the forum and I can't find a clear answer. What happens when the license of an Android terminal expires? I understand that you can continue to use it but without being able to remotely manage it in any way. But, if you force reset it to factory defaults can it be used or is it necessary to perform some other action?

    Here is what happens when your Sophos mobile license expires 

    1. Adding new devices to the Sophos Mobile Control web management via Self Service Portal or manually is not possible.
    2. Processing tasks will remain in the Accepted state
    3. It does not automatically reset the device. If the restrictions policies are applied, the user won't be able to factory reset the device. 


    I would suggest processing your renewal as soon as possible to avoid the scenario mentioned earlier. 
    But if you opt to stop using Sophos mobile and are planning to move to a different vendor, you need to unenroll your managed devices before the expiration date.
