Sophos Mobile iOS Model name incorrect "iPhone, iPad"

Hello, We are currently integrating new iPhone 15 models into Sophos Mobile.

We do this as usual with the Device Wizard.

It also makes no difference whether you integrate a new iPhone or an iPhone from a backup. Unfortunately, in none of the cases is the model recognized and displayed correctly.

The Model column says “iPhone, iPad”. On the older iPhones it was correct, model name, storage capacity and color. What needs to be done here?

We need the correct representation. The issue affects new iPhones and new iPads.

Am I doing something wrong here?

Thanks for reaching out to the Sophos Community Forum.

Could you try attaching a screenshot showing how one of the new and old devices are being displayed in Sophos Central? It's possible SMC will need to be updated to add some considerations for newer models.

This is the Problem. Look at Screenshot.

I cant Update the SMC. This is in Sophos Central. We have the SMC not local.

Can you tell me how I can get the correct model of the new iPhones displayed?
