Encrypt Device - Policy Wizard

In the Policies startup wizard there is an item Encrypt Device under Restrictions. When I enable this and then look at the policy created, I can't find this item again. We only manage Android and iOS devices via SMC. Is this setting only possible for Windows or macOS and I don't see it in the Android/ iOS policies because of this?
Unfortunately I did not find anything in the manual.

    Thanks for reaching out to the Sophos Community Forum. 

    You can find the "Force encryption" option at the following navigation under the "Security" section near the top of the screen.
    Android Enterprise Policy (Full Device or Work Profile) > Restrictions

    I was not able to locate such a setting for iOS devices.
