Contacts in iOS

No it does not. That is going into Android Policies not with iOS. What I am asking is there a way to put a list of contacts in a phone using Sophos and not anything to do with email.

If you wish to synchronize contacts on an iOS device without interacting with the email accounts or synchronizing email contacts, you can configure the CarDAV settings with server connection settings. This will also require you to have a CarDAV server set up in your environment.

Ok so I do have one other question about CardDAV. It seems like that will be the best option but I would like to know that if I have a local CardDAV server, for the server how would I go about doing that part. So for example if my NAS that is hosting the CardDAV and the IP address to that NAS is for example 192.168.1.5. Would I Just use that IP address or how would that work. The reason I am asking this part is because I know the Sophos is a cloud based management system. Please let me know if you may be able to help me understand this part. Thanks in advance again for all the help. And so the NAS is a Synology NAS that has Synology Contacts placed on it. 

I found further details in the following  Synology KBA outlining details to populate in the client application to allow contact sync. The steps relevant to you will be under "Sync to iPhone". You can use this section along with the link sent earlier.

Once the MDM configuration is applied to your mobile devices, the mobile devices will communicate directly with the CarDAV server hosted on the Synology NAS to obtain the contacts list. This sync does not go through Sophos Central at all, it’s strictly between the CarDAV server and Client Application.
