EAS proxy access for non managed devices

Is it possible to grant a device the possibility to get mails via external EAS proxy when it is not managed by Sophos Mobile?

Background: a CEO of two companies only wants one smartphone. It is managed by another MDM system of company1, but it shall receive mails from company2 which uses Sophos Mobile and the EAS proxy.

Any chances?

Hi there, upon validating with our documentation, the said set-up isn’t possible. EAS proxy will only forward traffic to the actual mail server if the device is known in Sophos Mobile and matches the required policies
