Two problems

Hello,

a] 'Sophos is not running' appears on my Mac when I turn on.

b]'Threat detected' has also been appearing recently. I use 'cleanup',it informs me after about a minute that it has been cleaned.However,'Threat detected' keeps returning.I have tried six times to clean threat.

    Hi Rob,

    If Sophos isn't running then obviously that isn't great and should be your first priority as fixing that may resolve the threat issue as well. I suggest reinstalling Sophos first to see if that fixes the issue.

    If you weren't getting that error I would normally say that any malware that comes back after being cleaned is either being repeatedly dropped on your machine from another infected machine on your network, or there is something else on your machine that isn't being detected which is doing it. However with the above issue it might be related to that instead.

    What is the threat name that is being cleaned and coming back?
