Getting Malware Samples for Research

Question

Is it possible to get in touch with SophosLabs researchers? I am a Ph.D. student doing malware analysis research and would like to contact them for help with getting a sample of the Guerilla Ad Clicker malware payload.

Hi Khaled, 
 Sorry we don't provide samples of malware in that way, however our whitepaper on this malware includes a list of SHA-1 hashes of samples we have seen. these can be obtained from VirusTotal.com if you have the right account. I'm sure there will be other places these can be found as well.
