Exchange 2010 Undeliverable Messages not being sent out

We have the cloud Sophos Email Security connected to our Exchange 2010 server. It seems, if we have an email on our exchange server disabled, no undeliverable email is sent out to emails outside of our organization. Internally, when messages are sent to this disabled exchange account, the undeliverable message is received. 

Any ideas?

    I think this has to do with the account that sends the undeliverable messages not being a mailbox in the Email Security system. Does anyone know how to allow these undeliverable emails to bypass the email security system? Or how we can get these undeliverable messages to send appropriately out the email security system?
