a sender does not come through by email.
There are no entries in the quarantine or data control report either.
So Sophos never received it.
The sender gets the following message:
Hi. This is the qmail-send program at *.com.I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses.This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out.
<*@*.com>:3.123.126.251 does not like recipient.Remote host said: 550 5.7.1 XGEMAIL_0008 Command rejectedGiving up on 3.123.126.251.
What else can we do?
I have now deleted the Sophos mailbox once and created it again. The vendor will send a test message again. Then I will inform you about the results.
Ok I recreated the mailbox, now this one sender in particular arrives again. For whatever reason.
Great, I could see it working in our logs. As I mentioned our system had that IP address as a block so we were honoring the block request. Glad it is working. Take care!
