My Products - Click on Product should open the Dashboard

Hi all,

About the new UI --> My Products:

If you click on a product, the product view will be closed/hidden again.
I would expect the product Dashboard to be open instead.

Thoughts?

Replaced Doubleclick with click.

  • I see this similarly. The current product navigation has two issues:

    1. Hiding the menu-items for a product when you click the product-name in the "My Products" list has no added value, it would make more sense to switch to the dashboard for said product in that case.
    2. The product menu driven by mouse-over events, this causes some issues when you for example have your mouse over Cloud Native Security and then want to go to the Dashboard for said product. If you move your mouse in a straight line then you unwillingly change the focus to server or even encryption due to the mouse-over.

Possible solutions could be first showing the product specific menu entries after clicking the product name and "pinning" the selected product entry. Which would mean 3-Clicks ("My Products" --> Product name --> menu entry) for navigating products (that would solve 1 and 2).

Alternatively like  posted jump straight into the product when clicking on the Product name. This would however only address 1.
