I would like to know the steps to grant a user the ability to manage either a single device or multiple devices within Sophos Central. Could the community please provide guidance on configuring the necessary permissions and settings to enable this functionality? Regarding your query, you can apply Role management to a user whom you wish to manage single or multiple devices in your central dashboard.

It is not currently possible to use Role Management to allow a user to fully manage a single device. If they only require the ability to turn on/off protection features locally on the device, providing the unique Tamper Protection Password to the user may suffice.
If you have a group of devices you wish to delegate control over, it is possible to use "Enterprise Management" which allows you to register devices into a sub-estate within your current Central Environment. You will then give full administrative access to all necessary users. This is typically used for remote-site management and may not be ideal for allowing management of a single device.
