Is it possible to disable specific Email Alerts from Central? I'm afraid not.
The only thing I could find is to disable All alerting globally and create Custom Rules and assign to Admins. But even Custom Rules do not provide the ability to disable some alerts.
Since we enabled Management of our Firewalls, we're spammed with RED disconnection mails with warning category whenever a RED in a remote location is turned off or lost WAN link. We've disabled this on our Firewalls but now we get these alerts from Central.
There are plenty of REDs out there.
You can disable / limit specific types of Email alerts.

thanks. I'm aware of these abilities
But the question was to disable specific alerts.
We see, that Central recognizes the Event as an RED Event:
[MEDIUM] Alert for Sophos Central [customer]: Firewall RED tunnel down
But there are no RED Events (de-)delectable. Only Firewall Connectivity Events, which I think matches to the mails we'd like to disable. But we'd like to receive Mails about connectivity of Firewall Interfaces, but not for RED.
Can you click on a alert in Central and disable the alert there?
yes, nice hidden feature. Looks like an exception for this particular RED only but may help.
Where do I find the Exception list? The Tab looks like it's missing where it's supposed to be.
https://docs.sophos.com/central/customer/help/en-us/central/Customer/concepts/AlertEmailSettings.html writes:
"Exceptions
The Exceptions list shows the exceptions you have set up. These change the frequency of email alerts for certain alert types.
You set them in individual alert details on the Alerts page. You can also edit them here."
It looks like the absence of the "Exceptions" tab is currently an on-going issue. - The 'exceptions' tab may not be visible in some Central Dashboards
The suggested workaround is the process you've used above.
at least those mails do not come anymore after I did as witten above. for all REDs not only this one.
thanks for pointing to that KB. seems to get fixed soon.
it's back. you could perhaps update that KB.
