Yet another unable to update post

After a fresh Installation, PureMessage wont update anymore. I tried virtually everything here in this Forum, can someone tell me what im missing? Also is there a way to manually update patterns?

I made a query on my Firewall for all http Connections coming from the Exchange Server and it seems like Sophos is dropping the Connection on me:

    Hey Alexander!
    Do you use any kind of proxy\transparent proxy\proxy cache on your firewall? If yes, clear the cache or disable it.

    I see that SAV is the standalone version...you may also try these steps to force a full download of the definition files:

    1. Stop Sophos autoupdate service

    2. Browse to c:\programdata\sophos\autoupdate\data\status\
    Rename status.xml to old_status.xml

    3. Browse to c:\programdata\sophos\autoupdate\data\
    Rename the folder warehouse to warehouse_old

    4. Browse to c:\programdata\sophos\autoupdate\cache

    5. Rename the folder sophos_autoupdate1.dir to sophos_autoupdate1.dir_old

    6. Start Sophos autoupdate service

    7. force an update
