PureMessage for Exchange 2016

Hello,

in my company we are using Exchange 2010 and PureMessage version 3.1.2.0.

As we are planning to migrate mailboxes to new Exchange 2016 server and to remove current Exchange 2010, can we also migrate Pure Message , without purchasing new licence?

Hi Aleksandar,

You can install PureMessage on a new server without having to buy new licenses. If the Sophos PureMessage database is not moving then all you need to do is run the install for PureMessage on the new server and point to the same database server

Also Exchange 2016 is not supported for now (just double checked) and the actual migration of the database is not supported for PME 3.x.x to PME 4.x.x

Is there a release date for a version that supports Exchange 2016? We're currently migrating as well.

At this time we haven't been provided an update on when there will be a version or an update that supports Exchange 2016

Any updates regarding a new version?

We are also migrating to Exchange 2016 - would be great to be provided with a general indication or roadmap for 2016 compatible release.

No new updates have been provided to Support in regards to this.

I would recommend speaking to your account manager and have them follow up with product management for an official answer

Are there any updates to a release that supports 2016? It's really quite ridiculous that it's taking so long and there's no communication/roadmap from Sophos.
