Local Excluded item disappear after a while - MAC Cloud

Hi

we have a few developers who would like to add an excluded item locally on their machine.

We have allowed them to do so, but it does not stick. 

it disappears after a few hours.

How can we make it so they do not get overridden from the global policy?

Should we create a group with special rights within the cloud console?

add the device to a special group?  

these are local folders that each user has created in various locations and we cannot control it globally.

    I don't think the concept permit local exceptions exists in the Central product. Eventually the clients will revert to the settings from Central.
    I'm not a Central user so I can't say whether sub-estates would be a workaround or even a solution. Still the exceptions would have to be set in a Central policy.
