Configure Firewall

Hi,

Bit of an odd one this. We have a large estate and have now finally configured the Sophos Firewall-hooray!

However one of our users has noticed that he can configure the Firewall on his local machine himself (if he so wanted), yet another machine in the same OU cannot. Both machines are using the same Firewall Policy.

We saw in SophosPowerUsers local group the following on the "problem" machine

Authenticated Users

Domain Computers

SophosDomainPowers users

On the other machine in the same local group it has

SophosDomainPowers users.

Is this correct and the problem machine has too many groups assigned to it?

Confused :(

Hello pdturbo80,

the SophosPowerUser (note: no trailing s) is populated with the local Power Users - the Sophos installer does not add any other accounts (unless they are members of the local Power Users group). Indeed it looks like the "problem" machine has an uncommon group membership.
