I recently acquired a new network and there are a handful of servers not connected to the domain. One of which is the Sophos Endpoint server. The following services are logging in as local admin: Sophos Management Host Sophos Patch Endpoint Communicator Sophos Patch Endpoint Orchestrator Sophos Patch Server Communicator System Protection Service is running as Network service, Sophos Device Control Service & Sophos Anti-Virus are running as local Serivce. The reaming are running as Local System. What possible consequences would I likely come into after joining the domain? The console is also at 5.3 and I'd like to update to 5.5. Should I do this first or after joining the domain?

Hello Carlos Castillo,

if you join the server as a member server it shouldn't have adverse side-effects.

what's you plan B? Personally I'd first join it.

logging in as local admin
definitely not as recommended. Should be the services and database account mentioned in User accounts required by Sophos Enterprise Console. Domain accounts suggested but it should work with local accounts as well.
