Message relay on windows 7 pc

Question

Hello everyone, 
 
 Just need to know whether we can install a message relay on a windows 7 machine. At the moment we have deployed sophos child update manager on a windows 7 machine and would like to use the same machine as a message relay as well. if this is possible kindly send me a link with the installation steps.

 while Windows 7 is supported as platform for SUM and a Relay it should naturally only be used for a rather small number of endpoints. 
 To use a machine both as Relay and SUM please follow Deploying a message relay and SUM installation . Although not recommended/supported it might still be possible to convert the machine into a relay by modifying the registry .
