Remote removal of Sophos Endpoint

Morning All,

I am trying to remove Sophos Endpoint Security from some customer machines from our Partner Portal but can't see where this is done.

I have found a forum where it states you need to create a bat file containing the text below and run it as a startup GPO.

net stop "Sophos AutoUpdate Service"

MsiExec.exe /X{1093B57D-A613-47F3-90CF-0FD5C5DCFFE6} /qn REBOOT=SUPPRESS
MsiExec.exe /X{2BA8B791-5311-441A-87BD-34283E1E67C3} /qn REBOOT=SUPPRESS
MsiExec.exe /X{837b34e3-7c30-493c-8f6a-2b0f04e2912c} /qn REBOOT=SUPPRESS
MsiExec.exe /X{AFBCA1B9-496C-4AE6-98AE-3EA1CFF65C54} /qn REBOOT=SUPPRESS
MsiExec.exe /X{FED1005D-CBC8-45D5-A288-FFC7BB304121} /qn REBOOT=SUPPRESS

Can someone advise if this is the best way to do this and that the process is to create a bat file with the text above and create a GPO to run it as a startup script?

Hello Daniel East,

there is no Remote Removal feature/option.
An appropriate script (run by whatever means) is the simplest solution for an automatic or remote uninstall. It has to deal with the applicable product IDs and use the correct commands (not all products are removed using the Windows Installer).
