SophosUpdateManager Account gets lock

Hi,

We set up the updating policy for MAC in SEC as smb path with a credential, but account gets locked every time.

 

SEC Version: 5.5.0

IIS Version: 8

    not much detail (and why mention IIS if you use SMB?) - do you have apart from the server just Macs or why do you think it's the Macs? The server's (or AD's) Account Lockout policy determines the number of attempts before the lockout, a possible unlock and counter reset interval. When you say every time - can you tell how log it takes until the lockout and what's your updating interval?
    Did you ever change the update account or its password, does it perhaps contain special characters?
