Awaiting Policy Transfer on all machines

We're running Enterprise Console 5.5.0 and I just disabled the tamper protection on all of our machines so I can get ready to migrate to the cloud. It's been 24 hours now and all the machines in the Console are stuck as "Awaiting policy transfer" Last Up to date is "Not since 10/11/2017 7:30pm. I'm not sure what caused this. We do have a relay server. Clients are getting updates from the server. I reboot both servers to see if this makes a difference but no luck..

  • Hello sabdul,

is he relay also out of date, in the Console please check its Last Message Time.
If the relay is up to date but none of the endpoints behind it, check if it is still thinking it is a relay. Otherwise there's an issue with the relay→management server communication.

     Chris,

Thank you. Issue is resolved for sure this time. I had deleted the Sophos GPO which pushes the port config. That stopped the communication. I re-linked the policy and pushed gpupdate /force to all the machines and finally all the machines are now updated.

    Thanks for your help
